Why subscribe?

I’m fictionalizing my quest for romance as a starry-eyed kid and will post those serialized chapters here on my Substack. Sometimes, I’ll share a short story.

Most of my posts will be silly personal essays and true stories (mildly) fictionalized. Occasionally, I’ll write essays about authors or musicians who have influenced me. I’m looking forward to trying some fiction collaborations with other Substackers!

At the very least (with luck), my children will find these posts someday and gain insight into what their father was thinking when he wasn’t changing their diapers and making their lunch.
