There's a good chance my final letter won't even include a ghost story. There's already so much to respond to here! Excellent penultimate letter, Wil. This has been a real pleasure.

My favorite explanation for supernatural sightings comes from the Matrix 2. They're rogue programs running amok inside the simulation.

Wait a minute! What if… we’re the rogue programs!!

Whatever you do, don't Google blackpilled. (Knowing you're going to Google blackpilled).

Where’s the Field Research Guide to being “____pilled?” So many colors! So many ways to attain enlightenment! Aquapilled! Zebrapilled! I’m assuming being silversparklepilled means you give up walking and don’t stop, get it get it.

I'm late and reading out of order because of life, but you boys are great.

When the lie is really good, it can even convince the liar. That kid committed to that lie, big time. It doesn't surprise me at all that he fell victim to his own deception. For me all lies are ghost stories because they haunt my fragile conscience immediately. This is also why I suck at pranks. The lighthearted evil of them always turns against me. 😂

Street Spirit (Fade Out) - My acoustic rock duo covered that song. I don't have a recording to share, unfortunately, since we rarely recorded covers, but it was one of my faves to play.

Bookmarking this post so I have all the linkies in one place to read stories 2-4. Also looking forward to "Ghost with a boner" and whatever else your brain is making.

Hauntingly yours,

Me

You know, Meg. You could record a new version in the style of your younger version. Like Taylor Swift!

Would you haunt me/cancel me if I told you I don't much like Taylor Swift? 😕

Ha! I only really know “Shake It Off” from her catalogue. But when I play it, I play it LOUD. But from music news, I respect her swagger to re-record all her music when she lost control of her masters and her power and influence to ask fans to stream or buy the new re-recorded albums instead of the originals.

Okay. I DO like "Shake it off." 😂😂

I think it's her level of fame that makes me uncomfortable. I don't think anyone should be that famous. Unless it's you or me, of course. 😉

But she’s famous for her songs which she wrote!
